Portion of YWC Sales Will be Donated to Haiti Relief Effort

After the news of the 7.0 earthquake in Haiti and the destruction that it has caused, You’re Welcome Cards founders have decided to donate $1 from each sale to the rescue and relief efforts in Haiti. We know and understand that $1 is not a lot, but every little bit helps, and we’re trying to do our part. If you’re unaware of what’s happening in Haiti, here’s a brief description taken from Yahoo! News:

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti – Haitians piled bodies along the devastated streets of their capital Wednesday after a powerful earthquake flattened the president’s palace, the cathedral, hospitals, schools, the main prison and whole neighborhoods. Officials feared thousands — perhaps more than 100,000 — may have perished but there was no firm count.

Each sale made from today through January 30th, 2010 will have $1 donated toward the relief efforts in Haiti.
